All original wood, excellent condition, matching numbers, Spandau arsenal, 1888 production. Much original bluing still present. Includes 51 reloadable, boxer primed brass cartridges (Bertram Brass Mfg), around 150 340 grain cast bullets, loading dies. Gun shoots straight, strong rifling. Can be used with 77 grains of FF powder or with smaller smokeless loads. Original regimental unit markings still readable, could be researched. This is Mauser's first repeating military rifle, ahead of it's time when everyone else was still issuing single shots. $1000. The brass alone is unobtainum - IF you can find it, it's around $4 a piece. Lee makes a casting mould for the bullet.
